Information Regarding IELTS
IELTS(International English Language Testing System) measures your proficiency to communicate in English. IELTS tests all four language skills – Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking. The Speaking test is a face-to-face interview with a certified Examiner. It is interactive and as close to a real-life situation as a test can get.
You can choose from two types of IELTS test: Academic or General Training, depending on whether you want to study, work or migrate. IELTS results are graded on the unique IELTS 9-band scale.
Over 7000 organisations including educational institutions, employers, professional associations and governments across 135 countries around the world recognise IELTS scores as a trusted and valid indicator of ability to communicate in English.
The test is also used to assess the level of English language proficiency of those applying to migrate to Australia (DIAC), Canada (CIC) or New Zealand (NZIS).
You can trust the quality and security of IELTS because it is owned by three reputable, international organisations: British Council, IDP: IELTS Australia and the University of Cambridge ESOL Examinations (Cambridge ESOL). It has the highest quality control and security procedures. The IELTS scoring system is recognised globally, giving you a truly international result.
